750Srad v 1000k1-2 swingarm

Dose anybody know the difference between the gsxr750 srad braced swingarm and the gsxr1000k1-k2 ?

IE will the srad rear wheel fit with no/not much messing?

Srad rear should bolt into k1 swinger

K1 wheels are popular to throw on srads. 

I'm sure the rear k1 wheels fit on srads if you use the full k1 wheel- spacers and cush. 

Not done this myself so can't say from personal experience but it is a common mod the other way round.

 

K1 swingers are slightly longer then srad i believe

My K1 marchessinis went straight in the SRAD, but front and rear need a couple of spacers. Pretty sure you can make it work without major mods.

As per my project thread, it's (as I've now found out) a gsxr1000 k1-3 swingarm I got, not the srad 750  the good news is this 1000k swingarm is not mutch heavier than the 600 srad if at all (didn't wight them  I should have) the swingarm went straight in replacing the 600 srad arm and the 750 6" srad rear wheel went straight in the 1000k swingarm and didn't need to alter anything 

The only think I had to do, was use the 1000k dog bones instead of the shorter 600 srad.
