Swiss Toni Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 Kat engine. Thought this was original 15T sprocket. As far as I know, the spacer behind is OE. So, should the sprocket be one of those with a ‘balancer/harmonics’ lump of hard plastic to take up the extra spline, or do I go for longer spacer? Bearing in mind, engine isn’t going in a frame, so I can’t check chain alignment. Pics below of what I have to work with. Found old sprocket fitting in box. No idea where it came from! Quote
rodneya Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 On the Kat I am currently taking apart there is a rubber piece on both sides of the sprocket sandwiched between that plate and amother at the back Quote
Ibbo Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 The rear one works as a spacer, so im guessing thats why its been ground down a bit. i got a spacer made up as it was a tidier job than modifying the original part. mike Quote
