Alternative Fuel Tap for Slabby Tank

Hi,

Just got a Slabby Tank need a fuel tap I have seen that some folk have mentioned that the R1 fuel tap fits which one is the right one?

I know the R6 one disny fit .

Any help would be great .

It an early tank I think .

There are 2 different size taps for slabby tanks.

Which one does the R1 tap fit? And which R1 Tap fits that tank ?

My tank has 50mm center's  if this is any help .

Says the R1 tap holes are only 34mm apart. Also says the slabby are only 44 apart

Thanks for the reply, I was sure I heard the R1 tap fitted but 10mm difrence is a lot, dam looks like I will have a look at the pingle stuff I know that not going to be a cheap fix.
