mikeyd Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 Start by spraying carb cleaner or some other combustible in each dead cylinder to see if the rpm's go up or pops off. If not check pickups. Sounds more like clogged fuel tap/no vacuum to it. Quote
Blubber Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 Sounds like the same thing you had in april 2018. Please reread you own thread and think about what fixed it back then. Quote
wraith Posted March 22, 2020 Posted March 22, 2020 (edited) What cylinder is still running ? Have you a spark on all 4 cylinders? Has the bike been laid up over winter or been on the road? I'm just over the hills from you if you need any help, need to come over your way to get some tyre's fitted Edited March 22, 2020 by wraith 1 Quote
pray750r Posted March 22, 2020 Author Posted March 22, 2020 wraith would be greatful of help had carbs off as well new fuel tap on as well had not been standing along time was running one day went week later would not start Quote
Gixxerguy86 Posted March 22, 2020 Posted March 22, 2020 (edited) pull your spark plugs out, connect them to the boots and crank the engine to check for spark. could be a fueling issue, I'd say the pickup on the right side of the motor could potentially be going bad. luckily all Oilers with a single pickup for the rotor share the same exact part, which means you could get one from a teapot 600 for like $20 Edited March 23, 2020 by Captain Chaos aint no Katana 1 Quote
