CockneyRick Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 To those who have & haven't followed my dragbike build I had the original BST34 GSX1100F (tin top) carbs fitted & went posh & sourced/rebuilt a set of BST38's to fit. However, they were too tall with the plastic tops so ended up putting the originals on. So my question is, what would be a good upgrade that should fit the 1127 engine in a 750F frame & large Slabby tank? Are there other larger tin tops etc etc that we're not looking at silly money Quote
wraith Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 The gsx750f have a 36mm carb but the carbs are smaller in height, if I get a chance today I will post a pic of a set of 750f carbs next to a set of 38mm carbs 1 Quote
MeanBean49 Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 Gsxr 750 36's also have a shalower plastic carb top, good carbs and easy to setup 1 Quote

CockneyRick Posted November 17, 2019 Author Posted November 17, 2019 Are all the 750F carbs 36's? Quote
wraith Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 I believe so, but I think the post and pre 2000 years are a different type, but don't take my word on that. 1 Quote
CockneyRick Posted November 18, 2019 Author Posted November 18, 2019 What about some VM29's? And what would you pay for an average set? Quote
