wraith Posted September 3, 2019 Share Posted September 3, 2019 Had anybody put a gsxr1100k head on a b12, apart from a small increase in comp with the gsxr head given the gsxr is 1127cc and not a 1157cc? Is there any other benefits with the gsxr head? The reason I'm asking is, I have a b12 motor for the next project but the head has a good number of zorst studs/holes that are f*ced. clivegto Posted September 3, 2019 Share Posted September 3, 2019 Comp difference in the motors is the differences in the pistons not the head. The b12 head even as standard is supposed to flow better than the 1127 head. They are interchangeable. 2 Quote Link to comment
wraith Posted September 4, 2019 Author Share Posted September 4, 2019 Cheers for that mate, I will see which is the cheaper way to go, repair all but 3 of the zorst stud 2 of which need re-welding as the lugs are busy off. Or see about this gsxr head. Ps have you fitted the oil cooled end caps yet? Or you keeping them for the new look Quote Link to comment
