Jpich85 Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 I’ve had to end up using some k and n dual pod filters on this build, I know it’s not the best because it’ll mess the carbs up but looks like I have to try and get the carbs set up to use them, I’m not expecting high performance but hopefully I can get it running smooth, has anyone set up there carbs for these filters and what did sort of changes did you make? I’m guessing some bigger main jets but not sure how big and maybe different needle heights? any pointers would be great Quote
Buzuki Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 In my R750J (88) for long time I use K&N dual pod filters (RU2922) , to get those BST36SS to work in proper way only I need was to change size of main fuel jets , standard #112,5 was replaced with #135 jets, original needle position was not changed , I pickup those new jets from some two stroke MZ/ETZ250 carbs . richyrich Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 I've kn dual pods on bst38 on 750L. Replaced needle and emulsion tube with standard and used 140 main jet in suzuki sizes . Goes well and plugs look good, 45 mpg Quote

eramljak Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 I picked up 4 sets of these recently, they seem like good quality, though they are not genuine parts. https://www.Eblag.ca/itm/5mm-Large-Round-Carb-Main-Jets-For-Mikuni-Carburetor-125-130-135-140-145/113153473091?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 I used them in my BSR36SS carbs Quote
