Hi All,

Does anyone know which bikes have 3 ohm coils suitable for an aircooled 1100?

Pretty much most coils from all the manufacturers are 3 ohm if fitted with electronic ignition and don't have individual coils!

Am I correct in thinking that Bandit / GSX (F) / RF / GSXR coils are all 3 ohm and will work with my 81 EX?

yes ..but not later gsxr 1000s etc

Is there any direct fit to plug coil packs?

So not stick coils but pretty much any 4 cyl coils  should fit?

If so are there any that are better or are they all the same?

Motor is standard so thinking about some later coils (900 / 1100 / 1200) with the advantage of coil wires not epoxied to the coil.

There is so much knowledge and experience on this forum and always given freely.
