Jay_111
Need some advice guys. What fits a slingy from other bikes, without serious mods?Thinking things like rear sets, swingarms, calipers, carbs, engine covers, etcFor instance I hear K4 Ti down pipes fit with a bit of persuasion but what link pipe? What about parts from these and others..Blandit 12? GSXR1000? SV1000?There seems to be a fair amount on the interwebs but I'm after some genuine experience before I start spending my hard earned..Any advice and experience appreciatedCheersJay Quote Link to comment
dupersunc
I've got a Gsxr1000k1 Ti exhaust on my 7/11m. Need a tweek of the headers by hand to line up with the ports, used with a Danmoto can and link pipe for a bandit 1200, owes mw less than £100. Belly pan needs trimming a little to clear. Also zx9r after market rear sets fit with a custom linkage rod. Edited September 6, 2015 by dupersunc 3 Quote Link to comment
Rene EFE
As above.K-series GSXR swingarms (along with Busa) fit with tophatspacers, but getting the suspension to actually work is a bit more involving. 1 Quote Link to comment

Rene EFE
Linkages; to get it working properly, the bottom linkagemountingpoint needs to drop about half an inch. There are brackets available that bolt straight on.Using the Slingy linkage with dogbones to suit will make it near hardtail; not good Quote Link to comment
Jay_111
Ah I see, does anyone in the site do the machines brackets? Once fitted do you use the K series dog bones then? Quote Link to comment
