I have a question concerning a V710 motor I got I got it very cheap as it was disassembled but there is no crank. Will a b12 crank fit as I know where there is one of them. Any advice would be gratefully received G

So I have 1127 motor in the gsx1100g, but basically different cams and carbs. Was wondering what would be best bolt one and not to much tearing into the motor to get some more out of it. I'm looking to put new carbs, air filter upgrade, headers and 4 into 1 exhaust, and whatever else could be best to help make it get some more top end out of it. And would gsxr1100 carbs work on it ? best aftermarket dealers? Best thing to look for on Eblag for used parts that possibly rebuild carbs? And best place for jet kits. Thanks guys Point me in the direction fellas I appreciate it. - Slim

Hey guys, thanks for having me on the forums. Basically one of a few sites I can find information on my bike. So I got a '93 gsx1100g, this is going to be my first baby. But as I have seen I have found only three serious builds out there with little information on swapping front ends. I was wondering if anyone can point me in the easiest direction for a front end swap. I have seen 2 people with a 93 gsxr750 front end and I forgot the year of the other gsxr750 front end. Sounds like imma have to have a stem made if need be, but could anyone help point me into what else would be needed and what to look out for. If anyone has rode this bike, you know the front end is absolute sponge. I'll be posting more questions about this thanks guys.

Other post didn't catch any traction. Was curious for carbs what are able to be out on the 1127 engine and should I keep to the 36mm or possibly upgrade to the 38mm? And if so what can I look at from other bikes to swap onto this one? Any help with carb related info is a plus. Trying to keep cost down as much as I can.

Hi, I have an 1127 in a slabby and was giving it a tidy up recently. Upon finishing and giving it a run, I noticed the exhausts leaked at the head slightly. It was leaking badly prior to this so I fitted new gaskets. I looked at the online parts catalogue and noticed I'm missing the exhaust plates (Item 5 in this figure) I ordered them and they look like a restrictor - because of this I'm not keen to fit them but may need to add something else to take up the space to get it to seal does anyone know why these are fitted? cheers
