  1. don't worry it still confuses the fuck out of me. Lol
  2. Just unwrapped some tape to try to trace it and it turns out it was the neutral light switch cable, which had been routed the long way round to near the oil drain pipes, for no apparent reason at all. Next question is, how to get it working lol. Guessing this is the positive end and it just uses the crank case as its earth?
  3. this guy though ill post a pic up later lol it's a 1127 oil boiler. If definitely an electrical connection, I'm sure of that much
  4. Iv got a connection coming from the clutch side of the motor. It's just left of the alt and directly behind the starter motor. One male spade type connection on the end. Any ideas?
  5. Is it quite a large bolt?
  6. I was thinking about replacing the oil warning light switch with a pressure guage sender. Just want to make sure it's a pressurised area of the system and ask where others have put theres
  7. Tried with a 10thou head gasket and got this. Combustion cc seems high lol
  8. Added thickness of head gasket to deck height. Still confused lol
  9. cosmetic, thickness will be what ever it needs to be lol so if I add this to deck height?
  10. This is where I start to get lost. My plan is to use mostly standard gsxr 1127 lump (head, crank, cons) and rebored to 1216 with busa Pistons in and then add a turbo. I do have a set of gen 1 busa rods that came with the gen 2 Pistons (I know right) if that will help but I'm pretty sure they are longer. Also before anyone jumps on me I know gen 2 Pistons have smaller pins but that's beside the point. Anyway I have no idea how I work out comp ratios and in turn how far below deck I need to be. I did try google but its still quite confusing working with formula. Any help?
  11. So what deck high are we aiming for? For N/a and turbo?
  12. Cheers lads. I'm at work now but I'll take a pic of gearbox end when I get home
  13. Gsxr1100 crank, any idea what year? Or what I can check to figure out if it's 1127 or 1052?
  14. I bought a job lot of parts today, a quick look through and I recognise a lot, but some stuff I don't have a clue. Many pics to follow lol Feel free to post a pic of something you'd like clarification/confirmation on.
  15. Go for it bud. They'll probably be questions I'm yet to ask anyway haha

I love threads like this lol @Gixer1460 do you have a build thread? That's ridiculous power haha
  21. There's a couple of similar topics at the minute, are you looking to rebore to increase cc? Or looking just to drop standard barrels back in?
