Hi guys. Sorry for the random reply on this thread but I was thinking about making the trip either this year or next. Where would you recommend a newby to aim for? Not been before so no idea what to expect or even what exactly I’m looking for but just want to be around a bit of the atmosphere and obviously see some bikes. Any tips?

Nice to meet a few of you today. I even came away with a couple of ideas to try on mine once I’ve got the bloomin carbs back in so thanks for that.
I’m sh!t with names so sorry I’ve already forgotten them but I think it was @imagoand @Sam-Jaffai spoke to mostly? Definitely had quick chat with @Paulmtoo.

Hi guys. I’m struggling to find a rocker cover gasket for my 82 550E. All the ones I’ve seen have 16 holes (like the ones pictured). I can’t find anything that has the extra (17th) hole at the front for the chain cover (circled red in the cover picture). Can anybody help with a part number or supplier please? I asked the same question on a GS owners Facebook group but so far no joy. Hoping one of you OSS guru’s can help me out!

This little hobby seems to be spiralling out of control. Lol. I really think I will too
I’ll probably end up camping (in a tent or the car!) but it’s definitely one to cross off my list of things to see and places to go.
where would you recommend to aim at in terms of watching some racing or being around some events/stalls/attractions etc?
