So a little progress after finding some clocks / seat foam, tail piece and an unknown headlight to get me going The cost is basically fuel at £60 and the seat at £25 at this point

So yesterday I returned HER now useless engagement ring to the jeweler where I bought it several months ago, and as I was loading the car up for a Road trip to Lancaster to buy a 600 Bandit donor, a nice swingarm came up for sale for the same money, and it was on my route, so I turned that into an arm for my Kat.

Do I fit these wheels and forks...? They are definitely longer but the rear wheel is wider so I bet won't fit

And then put the fibreglass fairing on the other Kat, I found that the ES750 fairing kind of fits. I need to move the headlight forward.

Tonight I went down to Leighton Buzzard to collect some 6-pots for my ZX9C front end. Just need retainer bolts (fine thread)

Here's the original Kevin Marsden 1000 Kat with the motor more rearward and long exhausts - Iv got this bike for a rainy day but in the racer tradition the motor is in a million bits (gsxr1100), I dropped an ET /EFE motor in it - ET bottom end/EFE top end. Thems the carbs !

So now I hate it..... and wanna change the swingarm, the shocks and the front end! Here's a Pic of where it started, and a Photoshop quick mash up with my original ZX9R C model wheels forks and some virtual panels added and then the bike as is currently - finished (roughly) Is it just the white wheels offend me? I think I prefer the darker wheels contrasting subtly with the bright bodywork, not BLINGY! Then there's the ZX12 front...... I'm liking the middle one and it could be MONO'D

Fairing frame off a 750 ES needs much therapy as it's hitting the forks / lower Yoke. Don't even know if the fairing fits with this.

Found another rear mudguard and fitted my rear light reflactor bit and that highlights the rear frame loop issue.

Bit of a bum day today, what with am unrepairable domestic which will have a big effect on my future, I went down to the workshop in the early hours. Managed to get a lot done, (great therapy), rear wheel adjusters in and wheel spacers made then fitted an EFE caliper...kind of with ZZR torque arm on the piss (needs proper bolts / spacers / bushes), - need to make a bespoke bent Torque arm ideally. Made a temp shock mounted Yoshi can holder. Std GS rear mudguard looks too big and clumsy.

Need some bodywork next

Does anyone have a SRAD 750 / Busa lower yoke?

I found that I had a top yoke that fits my BUSA forks so now I need a Busa Lower, hopefully fits the top, the ZX10 50mm Clip ons fit BUSA These need a rebuild, but I'm doing them as a back up - perhaps SRAD yokes 750 fit?
