  2. Is a very good point.........

And why aren't I just just using one fogger into the plenum or up pipe? TB foggers is because there are holes there that need filling. Wet only because I do not yet know how to compensate in the MAP. Was just a future proofing really, was going to set up at low boost initially then for racing? was going to use a boost triggered mini hit to reduce charge temp that wouldn't involve a change in the table. I think the ECU has the capability of doing clever things, but I need to learn??

  3. do you have a spare solenoid to try a different one?

if not you could disconnect your solenoid (the switch part, not the start button circuit) and check that it's either the solenoid circuit or the button circuit.

I'd plump for checking the solenoid with a DMM as the button circuit is control current, not high current to switch the fuck off starter motor cabling.

Yup, it's a short on the low current side of the starter circuit. Going to go chase it down now....

  4. Afternoon people. Just went to get on the bike and get off to a meeting but the ignition fuse blew. Initially there was a noise like a ricocheting bullet then nothing. Have replaced the fuse twice with the head light and signal fuses but they both blew the instant I touched the starter button. EZ1100. Ideas?

  5. I liked my Mk1 bought new in '98 did everything it was supposed to quite blandly. Watched it disappear back the way I'd just come in a fire ball wedged under the front of a Transit Pickup as I was picking myself up off the road. I'd put 42,000 miles on it in 5 months with TNT. Replaced it with a new Pan, now that really was bland, better at the job though...
