Hi to all . Have myself another 750 to build . And thinking of trying out a straight style 4-1 delkevic system . Anyone have any first hand experience of these pipes ? Good /bad /loud /quiet /restrictive ??? Etc etc

Have just checked on cms - the spring for 1100 is same as for 750 . Part no. 0944308019 in case anyone needed the info .

Never heard of this spring mod. Anyone know if the spring from a 750 et lump is the same as on the 1100. As I have a 750 lump kicking around .and I also experience the 2nd gear pop out . ( gears and forks are new ) cheers

Then I stand very much corrected . I assumed the Efe had the 2 Shims / washers as with the et . Does it not cause wear without those shims ?

Just to update - the Efe intermediate starter gear I have found to be 2.4mm thicker front to back . Which fouls the geny cover sitting Flat by about .5mm . Glad I noticed geny cover rocking - prior to the introduction of any bolts . Worth checking if anyone is thinking of this mod .

See my recent topic " 1100et clutch basket rubber peg " when I replaced mine it took away a noise I never knew I had - if that makes sense .

750 Exhaust will fit - no frame mods neccessary , but the bottom mid engine mounts are slightly different ( although engine will stay in fine without them ) lots of info on here for 7/11 conversions , and plenty of people with first hand experience . Enjoy !!

Hi all , Any experiences with oil coolers for uk use ? There are some lovely expensive ones out there and some cheaper . ????

750 or 1100 et for sure . Used the et carrier on my 7/11 - with bandit 12 rear wheel , to keep chain closer to tyre .

From the never to be mentioned arsebay . They can easily be undone for further use , so need to buy too many . Plus less chance of accidentally scratching pistons - as ties are plastic .

When running original carbs with pods I recall I did re jet carbs . Can't remember figures though . Although am running rs mikuni's with trumpets these days , which don't need much messing around with . As for loudness - full bore yeah I would say its pretty loud . Loud enough at low revs to be heard when filtering - which is always a bonus in my books .

Sorry but not looking to sell my v and h . Is the non drag type . Does sound good but always nice to have a choice I recon .

Hi all , am in the process of building another 1170 lump . Nice new shiny wiesco pistons and rings . But wait ! No sign of my trusty old piston ring compressor . And finger nails lacking in length . Hmmm head scratch . Long pause . Then I remember the 12.7mm wide plastic cable ties I bought last year - hey presto !!! Worked a treat . Just thought I'd share that .

All sound advice !! I found a 75mm dia ring in my box of "that will come in handy one day " . So the curve is pretty much not existant on a 7/8mm peg . Shoukd makes things a little quieter !!!!!

2mm sounds about right - just seen pic in the manual. finishes just shy of upper surface. O ring idea works a treat. cheers

Hi all, Has anyone successfully made and installed a clutch basket rubber peg before? ( GSX1100ET ) ?? As these do not seem to sold separately anywhere , or do they ? cheers

Have run without bottom mounts on my 7/11 for few years now - never been a problem . Even when it comes to an MOT .

Rear shocks are 40 mm longer . Which compensates well for front being still on a 19 inch . Corners lovely ATM . Could drop the lot - but I am 6ft7 and don't want my knees on my ears . So ideally want to retain heights as they are now .
