Most use 1100r wheels, rear almost plug and play, front no rocket science. 1100r discs need adapterplates, 298? Mm 600/750f, rf600, b600 etc discs just 9? mm spacers.
I used rf900 wheels, rear little more work than 1100r but I am not an enormous technician or so and with a little help got it done:
Better brakes and sticky tyres with a 170 rear on a 5J wheel (standard for rf900 and more space for chain)

None, all need adjustments, some more than others

Its a long shock with a long fork beneath. I couldnt find one so bought a brandnew expensive hyperpro (Dutch brand) shock 10 longer than standard.
So ironic: the 10 mm extra length together with a little shorter fork on the expensive shock... shock did not fit
Had to take a mm or something like that of the uperside of the link the shock is mounted on

Matching bearings ?
I have rf900 wheels but most take 1100r wheels.
Read on a German site multiple how to's in the days

I have a 600f with an 1100f engine, would almost say "if I could do it..."
You have to consider also other exhaust and chainsprocket ratio. Your original brakes wont do the job the way they should en your original frontend is also not overrated

Im currently in the process of rebuilding my 600 teapot and i'll be fitting a 1100f swinger with a kindly donated 4.5" slingy wheel.
Im not sure what year yours is but from my own opinion the 4.5" wheel is bloody tight inside the mk1 standard swinger.
Nooo, a 5.5J is tight in original swinger, verry narrow fit
A 4.5 is almost plug and play

Hi all
In my gsx750f '90 I have a 5.5J wheel with 170 tyre in original swinger; narrow fit.
In my gsx6/11f I also like bigger wheel and read somewhere overhere that a newer type swinger is an easier way and even can handle a 180 tyre.
My question is: what are all parts that have to be changed besides wheel, swinger, calliper etc.?
Dogbones first model wont fit for example but which wishbone for example?
I didnt make much kilometers with original parts, all new, revised (new bearings, seals, etc) etc but a bigger wheel keeps comming back in my mind

Isnt the construction more important than thickness?

Thanks Ivan, what hole sizes did you use? My slabside uses m8 I think and I'm sure the nissins are m10 aren't they?
I made the lower hole in fork bigger from 8 to 10 mm

I think the early models has different size tyres in than the latter 3 spoke wheels.
Not 100% but I'd think yours should be front 110/70/17 rear 150/70/17
You could get a 160 rear on but your stuck with the front size without so front end modifiing.
