Nice writeup

Welcome to OSS.

Thank you.
For me it's always been the V&H sidewinder that is oldskool.
Because that was "the pipe" 1984 when the bikes were new.(Sweden)
Never seen that much Yoshimura pipes here.
ALFA straight pipe and some KERKER pipes, is what i remember.
But V&H has always been the most common eftermarketpipe as far as i know.
I saw a nice baffle at Busa1300:s GS1000

A little svenska used to work for SAS based in Arlanda a few years back.
Cool, been at airport maintenance too many many years ago.
So do you have any pictures of your baffle.
We (I) don't want to get banned by the moderators for non OSS content.

Tack sa mycket Hasse
The baffle is homemade and yes is mega loud without it
Didn't know you spoke Swedish.
I have the same Propipe for my EFE without a baffle and it might be a tad to loud.
So i will make my own baffle this winter, i want as small restriction as possible and as close to 100db that are allowed in Sweden.
If i'm wrong surely someone will tell me.

I really like your bike.
What baffle is it in the V&H, homemade or V&H original?
And how loud is it with that one.
Loud enough or superloud.

Spark output when going low is the most common setting if i'm not incorrect.
Check what is right for you.
The tooth logger looks wrong, your teeths looks to be different length.
Use a known working one and go from there, ask Arttu nicely and maybe he can help you.

Yoshi was not so forgiving, not budging from hibernation
Serious dust & corrosion has set in, even the grips have gone mouldy!
You have got some seriously nice bikes there, hope you can get your hip fixed so you can ride them soon.

Hey, i will follow your progress as i'm about to do the same to my 1100F.
But with different ECU and no boost.

Mmmm lovely.

1&4, 2&3 share coil.
so you have to change 1 and 4 and see if you will move the fault to number 4 cylinder.
Then the coil is gone.

So could it been a Hynda case and gearbox with Suzuki barrels?
As the gears is suggested to be of that sort.
