I'm not normally a fan of Baker frames, but this one looks like it has purpose.
Reminds me a little of a JMC frame.
Awesome build this, loving the engineering and design.
-
That arm suits the frame rather well.

Would that be "Oily Tom" ?
Just found him on tinternet. I'll give him a shout.
Thanks cregnybaa

You may be able to pressurise it with a pushbike shock pump. (They go to surprisingly high PSI)
But as been said it should be an inert gas..
-
Would it be worth getting a GS1000 cam bearing journals welded and inline bored ?
-
Ohh Heck missis.
That does have some tasty bits n bobs..
-
I do like the oldskool Zorst
-
sell them both and build a draw-through air cooled muscle bike.
You were always an odd fish Viz.
I sort of remember your old messed up draw through cop thingy..
Shame the "Silver Cross pram" got sold before it could be finished.

Just hear on FB that Harris have had a load of Jigs stole.
I believe the Mag 5 Jig was amongst them. Nooooooooooo..

I do like the clear coat on the frame.

I may be able to get a CAD model of a Harris Mag 2 frame.
I know someone who worked at Harris and is currently building a scale model of his Mag 2 café racer.
He had a scale frame rapid prototyped on a 3D printer.. Sad I know (I'll get me coat)..

Looks stunning.
Amazed you weren't constantly mono wheeling every where on it.

Cheers captain, just need to find a machine show to do the gear set.
-
Had greif with my BIM SB6 (Its got a Suzuki 1100WR motor so it counts) not wanting to select 3rd gear going both ways.
Check all the recommended things, gear linkage etc.
Any road up Iv decided to replace the box etc.
Q. Is it possible to split the motor from the bottom end and replace the gear box internals. Or do I have to strip the motor from the top down ?
Also, is it worth getting the gears undercut, and recommended machinist in North West if so.
Thanks in advance.
Si..

To be honest I had never heard of an XR41 until reading this.
That's what I love about OSS you can learn something every day.
Time to get this fixed back up.
