Don't think K&N do a pair of double filters that fit the flatties. I intend running velocity stacks and RamAir foam socks on mine.
I think APE do individual filters and I know S&B do individual filters that fit, but not doubles.

Same part number on the GSXR750 from 1990 to 1994 possibly also the GSXR600 of this period.

Maybe its just me been paranoid....
My Harris is registered off the original donor bike, but that only says Suzuki and the cc, no model number.

Looks a little tight to be getting a draw through in there...
So whats that, 4 specials now..?

Do they still give the same advice concerning registration and frame numbers??
Couple years ago i was working with a bloke wanting to build one of there wormburnt chopper thingy, he rang and asked about SVA and making it legal and the advice was " Dont bother with all that, just copy the frame number from another bike and no one will know" Yes I know a lot of people do that , bits its totally illegal and they really shouldn't be telling potential customers that
I nearly bought a Turboed Bandit Savage HUC. Very nice build, (in green)
But when I checked the reg number the docs still had it listed as a Bandit 1200 in black.
Only takes one clued up copper to see its not a bandit, and then they impound it, and crush it. So long bike.
Needles to say I didn't buy it.

The Chain slider I had on my original Harris arm was just a machined C shape (a little over 180 deg) of nylon that snapped onto the pivot. And there was a rubber gubbins that screwed to the swing arm leg. If any of that makes sense..

Ttry a Kwak ZX750R is practically the same as the slingshot wheel, just without the seam in the middle.

I have no room between the fork and the wheel for the drive.
Iv found two units online that do this. But they are both designed for cars / trucks and are quite chunky.
One is made by DakotaDigital and the other is available from Abbott-tach
The idea is quite simple drive a short cable to the clocks via a 12v motor, and control the motor speed via the pulse from a magnetic pickup off the wheel etc.

Might be worth taking a look at the braking website. Their catalogue allows you to put bolt pcd, disc offset and other stuff in the search, from there you can cross check different models etc.

Might be worth a try..

I have a conundrum,
The wheel and fork arrangement that I am putting on my EFE will not give me enough room to fit a cable speedo drive. (I'm using GSXR K9 Forks and yolks with GSXR750 K5 Wheels.)
I don't want to ditch the EFE clocks.
Has anyone replaced the cable driven speedo with a digital replacement in the original control binnacle / clock surround ?
OR
Does anyone know of a digital / electronic to cable drive gizmo ?
Thanks.

That will never fit Ash, just give it to me and save yourself the grief....

If its just the chrome, and you want to keep original forks why not just get them re-chromed.
There are a few places doing it. I know of Dynasurf over in Sandbatch area for starters. http://www.dynasurf.co.uk/

Looks like you will have your work cut out.
But ever hopeful. It will be fun to watch this one come alive...

Ive done 2 DOT heads onto b12 engines and used all the B12 stuff, plugs valve clearances and all, both worked a treat.
Think that's what you told me Garry when I asked the same question on the old site. (or possibly the temp site)

would you see an improvement with a teapot dot head a bandit 12 lump, or is it only the gsxr dot head any good
Yes, But you will need to use 750 K or 1100 K cams to get the most out of it. Teapot cams are a softer profile.

Iv got a teapot DOT head on my Bandit 1200 Harris build.

Must admit I wasn't a fan of the MAG II seat unit (side panels).
Hatted having to poke my hand through the hole to get to the fuel taps. Especially trying to switch to reserve when on the move.
That fairing bracket is a bit funky, not a Harris original I presume.

I honestly thought the 5mm difference in the O/D would have been too much to be taken up by the rubber.
