  1. Hi amigos, I was thinking...Could it be valve clearence out of place? I did it a month ago but maybe by some reason it's out of place. I try to balance all 4 carburetors and the cylinder number 3 (the one without synchronizing screw) doesn't vacuum as much as the rest....Things I'm going to re-look: - 1ST COMPRESSION IN ALL 4 CYLINDERS - 2ND I CHANGED THE FUEL PIPE FROM TANK TO CARB...MAYBE IT'S TOO BIG? (6MM) - PILOT JET AND DIAPHRAGM IN THAT 3RD CARB... Thanx guys....I'm going to a psychiatrist, he might help!!!!!
  2. I've got 2 sets of carbs, so I cleaned the 2nd set, installed it, started the bike and CORRECT (not correctly carburated but low rev). Uninstalled this 2nd set and Installed the original set and wallah = over reved...So it must be something to do with diaphragm....Pilot jet (One was faulty and wouldn't come out)...Who knows, but gonna install the 2nd set and restore the original one I supose. Thanx guys.
  3. Thanx Puddy! It sounds something like that, I'm going to disassemble the carbs and and see...I sprayed the intakes with brake spray, it changed idle a bit but not that much...I've got another clean carb set to fit in and try...Thanx!
  4. Hi amigos, I installed the carbs again, like always, and the revs just wont turn down! round 2500 to 3000 rpm idle, choke not pulled, idle screw without touching the accelerator arm or however you call it....Mixture correct, and to be "correctly balanced" it has to reach more than 3000! I', totally lost.... Any ideas? Thanx
  5. Haha nooo, I put the rubber gasget on the orange coat.
  6. You are right haha. Well, I made around 13000km, and it's now when I've done it, but the previous owner said HE NEVER DID IT IN ABOUT 40.000KM! Anyway, now it starts up much better. I found out that 3 of the valve pushers were too tight (0.10mm wouldn't fit! and the correct measurement is between 0.09 and 0.13). Having said this, now it struggles a bit when pushing the throttle at about 4000rpm...I supose I have to adjust the mixture now and maybe balance all 4 carbureters...Lemmy know if ideas ome up! Thanx again.
  7. Nver have since bought the bike 3 years ago...And I don't think the previous owner did it eather...Doesn't sounf clacky but it could well be the thing.... CHeerz m8
  8. Hi there amigos, IT's simply that. Takes about 3km's to be able to ride without the troke pulled, and when I stop the mike for abour 10 min (when the bike was screeching hot) I have to pull the stroke again. ANY CLUES??? The bike has the muxture fine and al carbs balanced in its place. Cheerz! Sam.
  9. Everything sorted...the primary gear wasn't well fited, now it is...The clutch was still stiff but I cleaned the lever with wd40 and PERFECT! Thanx everyone. Lesson learned.
  10. Thanx Rich, The big nut holding all the hub sleeve was loose! And 1 of the spring screws was broken...Now I tightened the hub nut, then tightened all 4 spring bolts...Mountid cover etc...Adjusted cable again (and the adjuster down at the pushrod)....Start the bike, press the clutch, put 1st gear on and the bike jumps and stops (Like putting 1st gear in without pressing the clutch lever)...SPRING BOLTS TOO TIGHT?
  11. Hi again amigos, Man, as I explaned before, I changed the push rod and the clutch release assembly. The clutch was smooth and workinf really well, but I noticed it keeps loosening! not from the lever and not from the cranckcase...everything well adjusted at lever, cranck and release screw and nut....Seems to be loosening somwhere inside?!?!?! Cheers.
  12. Hi again! YES, it was the cap, I've got a spare one and works perfectly so sorted. Many thanx 4 your help guys.
  13. Hi friends.... After running the bike for a while perfectly, the bikes starts to choke, cilynders start to fail and I thing it might be the fuel cap that shuts hermetically the tank creating "emptyness" and not letting fuel go down to the carbs...When I open the tang IT SUCKS AIR THROUGH THE SAME HOLE! If anyone can help ...Thanx in advace amigos.
  14. Hi amigos, ¿How do I do this? The cables seem to be soldered to the coils. Cheers, Sam.
  15. Hi amigos, Well i bought this gsx about 2 years ago. Customized it to a more racing style...Cut the rear part of the frame, did a new fiberglass seat base, open exhaust and adjusted carbs, blaballbla....Then had a terrible accident and started to restore it again with extra plastix the previous owner gave me (white and red), but the tank wasn't red, it was cherry color...So had to paint it red....Now goin with the fairing...I love this bike, it's so smooth and reliable, powerful, sounds incredible...Aloha!
  16. TANK PAINTED! Well, just needs lacquer coat. (Before and after).
  17. Hahaha yes of course! Still have to installem
