  8. Hi people, I finaly put the Hagon shock...Works very well, of course...Compared with the original scrapped gelly shock. This is how the bike is looking like at the moment. Cheers from Benidorm!

  10. Hi again folks, A bit of a silly question. I finaly received A Gsxr 1100 K5 SHOCK...Like @Jameskat said, the bottom mount isn't the same (the original has a silentblock, this one hasn't, this one has the silentblocks in the swingarm or whereve it conects). QUESTION: IS IT THAT IMPORTANT TO PUT SILENTBLOCK IN THE BOTTOM MOUNT WHERE IT SCREWES TO THE SWINGARM? Sorry for my ignorance, but I must ask!!! Thanx again
  11. Well, I've finally bought a GSXR 1000 K5 Shock for 60€....We'll see if what type of "shock" I get! OUCH!
  12. Yep Thanx Swiss, I'll search, mean while, I'm comparing these tho from Wilber Shocks...B1 is for GSX750EF and the other one is for GSXR 750 K5. EXACTLY THE SAME, JUST THE PART NUMBER CHANGES: GSX750ES: https://www.wilbers-shop.de/en/Motorcycle/Suzuki/GSX-750-EF-ES-GR72A-wilbers-6/shock-absorber-type-540-Road.html?manufacturer=slm6e869254ef270fb7b5dbe84772262&year=1986&catname=699b5c708906bcfc1ac60f45c408441e GSXR750 K5: https://www.wilbers-shop.de/en/Motorcycle/Suzuki/GSX-R-750-WVB3-wilbers-6/shock-absorber-type-540-Road.html?manufacturer=slm6e869254ef270fb7b5dbe84772262&year=2005&catname=c942fc17b3b5f51a334221fc86f9f767 I'M GETTING THERE!!!
  13. I want to spend 90 bux at the most hahaha There are so many R bikes around here, many of them just change the shock for an expensive one and sell the original one (k6 for example) cheap, like 60€ or so. That's why I'm trying to make sure they really fit.
  14. Well depends WHICH gsxr you choose...But one example is these links, different article number, but exactly the same spex.. GSX750EF/ES: https://www.hagon-shocks.co.uk/catalog/partdetail.aspx?partno=M63060 GSXR750WW: https://www.hagon-shocks.co.uk/catalog/partdetail.aspx?partno=M63037 IN WILBER PAGE GSX750EF/ES https://www.wilbers-shop.de/index.php?cl=alist&cnid=699b5c708906bcfc1ac60f45c408441e&manufacturer=slm6e869254ef270fb7b5dbe84772262&year=1986&catname=699b5c708906bcfc1ac60f45c408441e GSXR750 WVB3 (2005) https://www.wilbers-shop.de/index.php?cl=alist&cnid=c942fc17b3b5f51a334221fc86f9f767&manufacturer=slm6e869254ef270fb7b5dbe84772262&year=2005&catname=c942fc17b3b5f51a334221fc86f9f767 They share options....So I'm going to study them a bit more, but I'm practicly sure I'll get a 2nd hand 2005 GSXR750 Shock
  15. Hey thanx Swiss & stargixxer. What I've done today was contactin with proffesional garages that mend shock abs. and sell new ones. They all told me that the this absorber is ermeic and that it's not possible to mend (Everything is, but still...Time is gold) . BUT, one of them wanted to sell me a Wilber absorber for 399€ (About 335 punds)So I went into the Wilber shop website, the web asked me "What bike have you got?" choosed GSX750EF/ES , then I did the same but choosing GSX-R 750 | WVB3 (K5) AND GESS WHAT?! Both share 2 same shock absorbers, the GSXR has a superior extra Shock Absorber to choose, very expensive, sporty that isn't available for our GSX750EF/ES. So after this, what I'm going to do is I'M GOING TO BUY AN ORIGINAL 2ND HAND GSXR750 K5 SHOCK FOR 50€ OR 100€ IN MINT CONDITION. AND GET DRUNK. Cheers amigoz
  16. Hi there, I'm new here. I'm from Benidorm (Spain) and I'm restoring the GSX750EF I bought cheap. Everything now is good, motor, carbs, brakes...EXCEPT FOR REAR SHOCK ABSORBER that is completely ready for scrap. So, I'm looking for 2nd hand like from GSXR's & things like that...Does anyone no of a shock absorber suitable for this GSX750EF - (GR72A)? Nice discovering this forum! Cheers.
