To get it built in time I'm going to fit the Mistral built ex sidecar 1216cc motor I have on the shelf for this year, and build the 1052 based motor for next year.
I have just about everything on the shelf to build this up now, though some parts are still in sheet and tube form.
The one stumbling block is the forks. I have a set of gsxr 750 j forks and yokes. The yokes are ok for now, I'll press in the Harris stem, and shave the castings down. once I'm happy I know what offset I want, I can decide if I want a pukka set of Harris yokes.
The fork legs them selves though need £1000-1200 throwing at them to get them to the spec that's worth having. I can't afford that currently. I'm hoping for a tour round Classic team Suzuki workshops wearing a coat with very long pockets.
LOl, & I actually did lough out loud.

I`m lining up to be out in the up to 750 group for the track day, but not 100% currently

Don't mention the organisers...

There was a track day along with the racing, but when I was talking to the organizers they only offered a parade lap???

Spot on, P14 it is.

Just booked the tunnel, so the plan is to be at Spa Friday morning
Not going to be Old Skool. But can you get into the pits/area? not keen on leaving the bike loaded up with gear in a park outside.

Looks like a nice bike - is there a build thread? Amongst other things am I spotting ISR brakes, Marvic wheels and a Harris F1 seat?
Well spotted, too long ago for a build thread pre digital era. As it had not been running since 2012 getting it sorted for Donington has fired me up to do some fettling & tidy up a few things.

Just had an email from Endurance Legends, tickets are in the post.
Looks like the first time I ride a bike this year will be wobbling down the pit lane. Anyone got a large pass me slowly sign I can borrow

Qualified on pole.
Had a look at the bike back in the pits. The cam chain tensioner cap and spring have gone AWOL, the front right engine mount was loose, front sprocket nut only held in place by the cover and one of the clip-ons was loose.
All good!
Here we go.
I think you`ve had your share of mishaps for today, all clean sailing from now on.

No, just starting to think I should be chancing them up.

A superb tribute to your friend & some proper skills which just show in the overall finish & small details.
