i bought a seat cover out of the states for 70 euro very good material and close match if this is any good for you

have new dyna coils and leads all power is perfect ,i didnt try the pri start yet will do tonight and let ye know

well folks the katana 11 is a bit of a bitch to start i try to start on full choke no thrittle and no luck then sometimes if i catch it right on just the thrittle she starts,have any of ye got this problem,once started the first time she is perfect everytime after takes a good 20 or 30 seconds to get her fired up first time ?

i was expecting that good one tho

Well folks ,I loved the challenge of the katana ,I have bought 2 more one 1100 and one 750,so I'm thinking about selling this one,what are ur thoughts on a price ?, I know some will say only worth as someone will pay for it lol,still what do ye think ye can judge by the resto pics no shortcuts were taken,all genuine parts were used even the fecking mirrors cost me 150 euro lol

Sorted looks like the main jet was blocked it's working fine now thanks mate

thanks mate i have just pulled the bowl i will clean the jets and try again new tap on tank with new filter,all new plugs and carbs are supposed to be clean i didnt do them,i will run carb cleaner thru them but might just pull the jets first and clean them on that side, all the rest up working perfect so far

well folks i am just starting and running on 3 cylinders, i changed the plug made no difference,so was going to remove the bowl tonight and pul out the jets,i might check that there is fuel in bowel first ?,anyu other hints folks sounds like jet blocked for me ?

whoop whoop finally on the road folks just done 10 miles on her nothing fell off so happy days,bit of vibration noise here and there is this common ?,plenty of power shite brakes but hey its 35 years old ,thanks to all of ye here for your huge help and guidance,

loving the bike ACE Cafe want it on their stand in Dublin next week well happy with that ,i restore 2 bikes a year maybe 3 depending on condition,my katana a very good example saved from the scrap heap,little digs about fins missing un called for,have a pop up 750 soon after i do a 350 lc,when i get too old to ride them i might build one to EXACT spec and park it in my sitting room,until then i will continue building and riding,

folks i built this for myself not to look at in the sitting room, yes the motor should be silver but i prefer black, it is a german import,gets my goat people saying to me its not this it shouldnt have that ,she is one of the few left running in ireland and will be on the road as much as my other bikes,i wonder how many of the critics have a standard kat on the road and not in their sitting room

well folks the katana is finished now,i am looking for a pair of mirrors,i bought cheap mirrors off Eblag for 25 euro but very poor quality,anyone know where to get a set ?

i will have them over the weekend Toni,have to tidy up the wiring still was afraid to tuck it all away and find a problem,the tank,fairings should be on tonight,i have to wait until monday or tuesday next week for the maiden voyage as waiting on a front master cylinder rebuild kit, but she should be all together this weekend and i will take loads of pics ,thanks again for ur help

made a cool exhaust bracket and painted it factory colour happy out

Well folks ,sorted when I took out spacer the battery went down 15mm,the air box is still very close to battery but should work thanks again lads as always u get me out of the soup again

will keep ye posted tonight folks ,she is running now thank god 12 years since she was on the road happy out
