    Slabbies don't have dog bones....

They're a bit of a pig to raise. 750's are easy enough as you can fit an 1100 link, or one of Funkymonk's billet versions. The simplest way on an 1100 is to fit a  06-08 Yamaha R1 rear shock, they are longer, so raise the rear a decent amount, and are sprung about right for fast road/trackday use on a Slabbie. You need to narrow the lower eye a little to fit, and fettle the link and swing arm a little to give clearance on full droop.

Definitely a worth will and fairly cheap mod.

Edit, there's an echo in here. :D

@Markz9 did you get you ignition switch sorted? sorry I didn't reply to your text.

Hi Duncan all sorted on the 750 slabby race bike power on now but nothing to spark plug

power to cdi and coils but no sparking not sure why to be honest

  5. I Can post a picture of the head cooler fittings I have just installed

    First  buy the Torque kit

    Plus

you will need a straight 1 No AN 8 fitting to the bottom feed, depending how much room under tank 2 No AN 6 straight or 90 deg fittings plus another 2 No straight or 90 deg to the T fitting

1 No AN 8 Straight or 90 deg from the T to the oil cooler and then

what ever oil cooler you buy the fittings to connect it ideally 2 no 90 deg AN 8

  6. Have a look on evil bay suzuki bandit 600 mk1 sprocket cover and few will come up you will need the cover, lifter mech behind the rubber bung, cable clutch lever and the perch the length of the pushrod is a bit of trial and error to get right but it's only short bit of 6mm bar make another if you muck up

  7. hi I am in the process of converting my gsxr race bike to cable clutch the 600 bandit cover, cable and lever perch were supposed to be from the bandit but what ever way I route the cable it is too short and it ought to be too long

can some one confirm the length of a standard bandit 600 clutch cable before I start ringing venhill for a one off

    mark

  8. Usually if the gears don't engage properly or won't disengage it's worn sides on the gear selector dogs look at your spare cases and see if they are scored I wouldn't use moles too much you will bugger the splines on the gear shaft and that will need replacing as well

    good luck
