Thanks again for the responses folks I think I'm just going to buy the spacers I need as with work etc it will free me up to do other things rather than making the spacers. while we are talking r1 forks what other calipers can I use I know the gold spots are good as they are an upgrade on the gsxr' is just wondered if there was any other options. once again cheers folks.

  6. Adding to this post if there are any other disks from different years that are of the same pcd that people know of. Then that maybe an option as earlier disks can be bought cheaper. thanks again for comments
  7. It's for an r1 front end with after market yokes. Which turned out to be wider than the stock yokes. And it going in an oil boiler with ws top braced swinger. Using r1 wheel also
  8. Just had a quick measure deffo 215mm centres where as it should be 210mm. I'm using 06 r1 forks and wheels and the disks are 5mm so your idea is not going to work for me plus the cost of disks is alot. Do you think that having spacers water jet cut would be the same?? Cheers jon.
  9. Probably about that amount. Seems the yokes I have purchased are about 5mm wider on the centres than oe. I have no issue centering the wheel was just unsure about the disks thats the idea I had, but never thought of using old disks. thanks for you advise cheers jon
  10. Hi all, what is the best way to space out front disks? Small washer or have a ring spacer made using the disk pcd? Also how much is it safe to space the disk out? Cheers jon

  12. Hi all quick question, are the 750 and 1100 gsxr twin exhaust headers the same? I want to go left and right cans on my 7/12 project. I've got the 1100 sump already. So just need to know if there is any difference between the 2. At a guess I'm thinking I will need the 1100 headers. Hope someone can help. cheers jon

  14. Hi all, will a gsxr1100 sump fit a mk2 b12 motor? Looking at going twin pipe on my project and I have seen it done but am unsure if it will work with the mk2 b12 motor. I know it's been done on the mk1 but want to check before buying the sump pick up and tubes. Hope someone can help. Will be posting a project thread soon. cheers jon

  17. Hi all. im wanting to fit this water boiler swing arm to my oil cooled project. What swing arm spindle do I need for it to fit the oil cooled frame as the original one is too big. And what other parts do I need. I have the dog bones and linkage to match the swingarm. Hope someone can help. cheers jon
