Phill106 Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 (edited) I was thinking about replacing the oil warning light switch with a pressure guage sender. Just want to make sure it's a pressurised area of the system and ask where others have put theres Edited August 26, 2015 by Phill106 Quote
McLean Racing Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Yes its presurised but the allen head bolt under it is the same gallery so easier to take off from there Quote
McLean Racing Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Yes mate. I would upload a pic but i cant from my phone Quote
Gixer1460 Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 The problem is gonna be what size is the sender? The suzuki cap screw 'cover' is M14 or M16 and once you bore and tap the centre outyou can't tighten it! May be easier to swop it out for a normal hex bolt and a dowty seal / washer and put the sensor in that? Quote
McLean Racing Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Thats what i did. Fitted an m16 to 1/8npt adapter to that gallery. So i can use my oil pressure sensor for the datalogger. Im trying to upload a pic but it wont let me Quote
