SiBag Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 Need a little advice for my 750 m rebuild. I'm look to at putting a set or RS flat slides on it but not sure of the best size to go for. Motor is stock at the moment What would suit it. 36, 38, or 40. Cheers . Quote
Gixer1460 Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 IMO RS36's are known to work well on 1216 motors to over 150hp and the factory used 38's for racing so i'd say anything bigger would be wasted and even 38's could be overkill for anything much less than race spec use? Quote
SiBag Posted August 19, 2018 Author Posted August 19, 2018 Thanks for that. But it's not a lazy 1216 that likes smaller carbs foe low to midrange lazyness. It a 750 that likes a bit of high end spank me spank me fun. Quote
Gixer1460 Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 150hp worth of air is still 150hp worth of air whether it goes in at 8000 or 12000 rpm! And a stock 750M ain't gonna be able to use 150hp worth of air anyway! Quote
