VJ Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Hi guys, Ive a gsx600f (well, mostly) thats decided to start weeping at a petrol tank seam, Ive made a temp repair with chemical metal (It is a rat after all lol) but I guess I should change the tank soon. Now if im going to the hassle and expense of getting a new petrol tank, then quite frankly I think the gsx600f tank is ugly as sin, and a slingshot tank would look a lot better on there, has anyone ever attempted such a feat? from what I can work out from photos the rear 2 bolt mounting seems to be the same, the front mounting and every other possible issue im lost on though having never owned a slingy. Rene EFE Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I've owned several of both and I see no chance in fitting a Slingshot-tank to a Teapot without making up some tabs. Sure isn't straight forward, I'd say do it Quote
