badger Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Sticking a ducati panigale supframe on my slingshot and the bottom mount its a bit of a dick. Could I mount to bottom mounts onto the shock mount or is it to much stress in one point? any advice appreciated! Ta 1 Quote
markfoggy Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Well if it's not going to go up and down, is probably do-able. Quote
markfoggy Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Oh, BTW if you are using a Pan seat to route airflow to an oil cooler, fuckin getin, that's a brilliant idea. 1 Quote

I don't know what you mean but im nodding anyhoo There is an air vent system in the seat so will stick the head cooler somewhere appropriate if I can. Lots of planning to do yet Quote
badger Posted February 13, 2017 Author Posted February 13, 2017 cool cool. thanks guys. that'll be the plan of action then. I'll probably need to lose the shock due to the remote bit probably sitting in the way. Ohlins ones don't have those....... giant wedge of cash though Quote
Diebythereaper Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 There was a Gsxr at Fighterama years ago that had exactly that done - bottom rails of subframe were mounting to top of shock mount using rose joints, it was a very tidy job! 1 Quote
