sharpy Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Can you just blank off those holes in lower leg or does one have to make/buy those tricky CNC milled ones that let the oil flow thru. Or is there a mod you can do when putting race tech valves in your forks? thanks Quote
teltwosheds Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 If you want you can leave the gubbins in place and just blank off the brake pipe feed. You will have to strip it first to make sure both valves are in the same position. Or you can make one plate (16 gauge) with a slot to connect both holes, and one solid plate to cover it. Couple of gaskets and job done. Quote
sharpy Posted December 30, 2016 Author Posted December 30, 2016 Was told this on another site..... the 1988 GSXR 1100 forks that have Racetech emulators, the anti dives are completely non-functional including the stainless brake line extension to the anti dives. Just need confirmation i can just make a plate. But thanks for that info aswell Quote
sharpy Posted December 30, 2016 Author Posted December 30, 2016 opps answered my own question from Racetech's website...... Comments Electric compression valve is bypassed with Emulators. Quote

Seems you still have to make/buy a part that has room to allow oil flow through as show in Race Tech Website... http://racetech.com/page/title/DRod 5-1 Edited January 13, 2017 by sharpy Quote
teltwosheds Posted January 13, 2017 Posted January 13, 2017 ok make that 2 slotted plates and 2 plane plates to cover them Quote
Swiss Toni Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Seems the slotted plates would be the easiest (read cheapest) way to go? Quote
MarkGsxr Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 From experience on another bike but same principle, make sure you do it right first time otherwise you will get problems with blowing the fork seals as I know Quote
