Jdeac1981
So best option is to stick with the mk2 motor as is. Quote Link to comment
fatblokeonbandit
depends what caarbs, ive never usd mark 2 carbs, keep the mark 1 rubbers and find carbs to suit Quote Link to comment
Jdeac1981
I've got mk1 carbs I think. came with loads of bits when I bought an unfinished project. what's the difference between the 2? both sets of carbs appear to be the same size as the mk1 rubbers fit on the mk2 carbs but I've not tried doing a complete fit to the mk2 motor Quote Link to comment
fatblokeonbandit
the spacing is completely different, if you put the mark 2 rubbers on the engine the mark 1 carbs wont go on and vice versa. Quote Link to comment
Jdeac1981
I see. cheers Quote Link to comment
