Jdeac1981 Posted December 12, 2016 Author Posted December 12, 2016 So best option is to stick with the mk2 motor as is. Quote
fatblokeonbandit Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 depends what caarbs, ive never usd mark 2 carbs, keep the mark 1 rubbers and find carbs to suit Quote
Jdeac1981 Posted December 12, 2016 Author Posted December 12, 2016 I've got mk1 carbs I think. came with loads of bits when I bought an unfinished project. what's the difference between the 2? both sets of carbs appear to be the same size as the mk1 rubbers fit on the mk2 carbs but I've not tried doing a complete fit to the mk2 motor Quote
fatblokeonbandit Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 the spacing is completely different, if you put the mark 2 rubbers on the engine the mark 1 carbs wont go on and vice versa. Quote
