The fly wheel on a gsxf is helical. 1052 and slingy 1127 are straight cut.Edit, just reread that you are using the gsxf outer basket. Can't see why it wouldn't work. Just plastigauge everything as you fit and take your time. Have a read of the Frankenstein guide to oilers.
