r1 running gear info

I seem to remember there was some info about what is required to fit a r1 swingarm and linkage rear wheel  ect along with the matching front end to an oil cooled gix frame  maybe a uk lee article ? Anyone have the info cheers

01 R1 front end needs a slabby/slingshot stem and a top hat spacer for the top yoke,not sure if you can do it with a bearing swap,stem will need knurling to fit,or have one made,the 3 spoke R1 wheel isn't a bad match for a slingy or Blandit rear wheel, blue spot calipers are great brakes as well.

I have a set robby moto billet adjustable offset  yokes makes changing the stem very easy  i have an extended r1 swingarm and a set of white cross rebuilt  front forkes   (now defunct) and guy  that owned it works at k tech so have a few goodies i know there was info regards what was entailed so thanks for that mate

Hi cj nice to see you back, yes uklee wrote an article on it don't know where it is though.

But I fitted a early r1 arm to a slabby frame, the r1 wheel is not central in the arm you need to take different amounts of each side of the arm pivot point.
