sbk replica Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 hi guys, im currently working on a slingshot and fitting a 03 750 swinger into it. i now came to the point of getting a link system that works, i found that i need a adaptor to fit the doggone onto the frame, im going to make this sometime this week, but what shock would be suitable with this setup ? thanks in advance. MeanBean49 Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Easiest way to do it is use the slingshot shock and linkage and just make some linkages from some ally bar and 4 female rose joints. Rand my race bike the same way. What wheel are you using? Quote
Redpear Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 What length dog bones did you use on your race bike for this arm? Quote
MeanBean49 Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Cant remember. Measured it when was all in place. Put swingarm where it looked to be standard height and se rose joints to mid way position so i had plenty of adjustment either way Quote
Fula28 Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 I fitted k5 arm in my slingshot, with k7 shock (wrong valving) and now have 11-slingshot shock with 750m linkage, and I made dogbones from t6 alloy bar m12 rose joints.pics show k7 shocker with m-linkage. but 11 -H shocker is same hole spacing .i am going to have k7 revalved to suit , just need to measure the whole set up.
