martyngsxr Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 okay the wheels on my 750l are pretty scabby someone is selling a set of wheels and discs and sprocket carrier from a 1100w am i correct in thinking they will fit the 750l cheers martyn Quote
Del Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 (edited) Straight fit,but you need to use the 1100w rear wheel spacers,as(on the brake side) the oil-coolers use a spacer with a built-in steel dust cover and the watercoolers use a rubber seal which the spacer sits in Oil-cooled Water-cooled Edited June 11, 2016 by Del 1 Quote
martyngsxr Posted June 11, 2016 Author Posted June 11, 2016 Cheers del that's what I thought thanks for confirming it Quote
martyngsxr Posted June 12, 2016 Author Posted June 12, 2016 Struggling to get the rear to fit I hate bikes at the moment Quote
martyngsxr Posted June 13, 2016 Author Posted June 13, 2016 Okay calmed down a bit now after yesterday now do I use the w sprocket carrier or the 750l carrier and do u need both spacers for the w wheel or a mix and match I.e w brake side spacer and l sprocket side spacer cheers Martyn Quote
Del Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 As i said on facebook, the sprocket carriers are the same,it was only the 89 1100k carrier that was different Quote
Rene EFE Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Isn't the offset on the disk different as well? Quote
martyngsxr Posted June 16, 2016 Author Posted June 16, 2016 well i can confirm that what i thought was a 1100w does not fit on my 750l if i use the sprocket carrier taht came with the wheel the chain run is off and if i use the 750l carries the rear brake is off on the 1100 carrier the sprocket sits deeper and the centre is taller on the carrier than the 750l if that makes sense ill take some piccys later when im home Quote

The 750l and watercooler wheel i have here are the same measurements. They both use the slabby hanger as well for the smaller 220mm slabby discs we are using.I did have to put the dish of the sprocket facing inwards because the 11k has a slightly shorter output and countershaft than the others. Or did you mean the 1100k 4.5" wheel (i'll have to dig it out and check) Edited June 16, 2016 by Del Quote
Rene EFE Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 No, I meant between 5.5 oilcooler and watercoolerwheel. Confused now, going to take some measurements later myself. If it's the same, it'll save me getting another rearwheel (after giving 2 away for free a few months ago) Quote

I just had to make sure i used the spacers that came with the wheel Edited June 17, 2016 by Del 1 Quote
