Jocalopse Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 I've heard a clunk while taking off, at first I though it was shock linkages, but then noticed it was repetitive. Thought maybe the drive sprocket nut had worked off, but not that. can't find anything out of the norm in the drive live. I'm dreading that it's internal. Only happens from a stop though, not deceleration or at constant speed, or roll on either for that matter. How loud it is depends on how much load the bike is under, flat ground, quiet clunk, uphill loud clunk, but it's only when starting out, it has a frequency that sound like it's drive related. can anyone help? Feels like it;s down by my right foot, almost like chain lash hitting the inside of the frame or something, but chain is fine Quote
fatblokeonbandit Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Sprocket carrier bearing or cush drive are easiest to check Quote
Jaydee Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Do you oil your chain regularly? Could be a dry or tight spot on the chain. ??? Quote
