TiZiK Posted March 23, 2016 Share Posted March 23, 2016 Doing some work on a friend's bike. It's an 89 GSXR 750. He needed a new clutch cable so he ordered up a motion pro one. Turns out it's the wrong one. I looked up the OEM cable and on the parts diagram, it shows the end as the same as the motion pro one. I attached a pic of the 2. The one i need is on the left. I think someone swapped the sprocket cover at some point hence the different cable. Can anyone shed some light in this? Need it sorted and out of my garage. Have a pair of RGs coming this weekend. Captain Chaos Posted March 23, 2016 Share Posted March 23, 2016 '89 GSX-R 750 has the clutch operation on the clutch cover, not on the sprocket cover. Someone probably installed a Teapot engine in the GSX-R. Quote Link to comment
