Buddy Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Hi lads slingshot 1100 fuel tap is pissing fuel through the tap face, never used a repair kit and wondered if anyone has success with one sourced from a particular seller etc? Heard mixed reviews about if they even work Cheers Quote
Simbec1863 Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Used wemoto repair kits and they have worked fine for me in the past Quote
Simbec1863 Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 They sell complete taps as well but they're about £50 instead of about a tenner Quote

Nick Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 I rebuilt my 1100M tap with a Tourmax kit from Eblag which was about 16 quid and had everything in it - even new bolts and a spring for the diaphragm. The seal that the knob cylinder fits into - like a rubberised washer that fits in the main tap body the other side of the diaphragm - is an interference fit and a right twat to get out. I used an engineer's pick, but I have heard of quite a few people cracking the tap housing in the process. A new one from Suzuki is 160 sheets! Quote
