Anders74 Posted Friday at 08:16 AM Posted Friday at 08:16 AM (edited) Hello again = ) So gsx750 1981 orginal is 15-42 teeth sprocket right? When you are changing for 17" wheel 160/60rz17, then you need 17 - 47 530 chain? If you have 16 front then you can have 45 rear? What is the best to match to the orginal? Thanks! TonyGee Posted Friday at 10:20 AM Posted Friday at 10:20 AM its recommended to go with the bigger front sprocket as it gives more chain clearance at the front of the swingarm pivot area. Quote
coombehouse Posted yesterday at 04:14 PM Posted yesterday at 04:14 PM What @TonyGeesays is right & very important. Also bear in mind that as you are changing the chain pitch the diameter of the sprockets are smaller even though they have the same number of teeth. To work out the gearing I use this site https://www.gearingcommander.com/ Quote
