34mm cv barbs stage 3 dyno jet - airbox or pods

do the standard cv 34 mm carbs with stage 3 dyno jet  work ok with pod filters or better with the airbox

CV's prefer an airbox but it is possible to tune them for pods, just don't buy them cheap Chinese filters !!!!

An alternative is to fit air correctors and bigger main jets to the carbs. You'll then be able to run a 4 into 1 with S & B or K & N pod type filters without a massive midrange flatspot, and without the expense of a dynorod kit. But as Tony says it'll run best and be easiest to set up with the stock airbox.
