Mike711 Posted July 26 Share Posted July 26 Does anyone know if GS750 & 550 seat hinges are significantly different? I have a 2/4 seat on my '78 750 that sits about 3/4" higher than the tail piece. The hinges don't seem to be available other than with a new seat on CMSNL & I can't see how else a gap that big could be caused. The seat is marked as fitting 550 & 750 but does say "Minor adjustments may be needed" Thanks. Quote Link to comment
gs7_11 Posted July 26 Share Posted July 26 The hinges are the same I think. The difference between the two seats is the position of the locking latch, plus a couple of the support rubbers. I have a Giuliari seat (same as two four?) On my 750. When I got it new in 98 it had a sticker on it showing how to adapt it for 550 or 750. Quote Link to comment
