Oil guide..

Is there an oil guide in here for our old bikes. 

I have soar eyes from all my Google searches. 

In the old oil there was alot of zink.  (Good for the old engines)

Now not so much.

So I am looking for the best oil for my suzuki gsx 750 1982    I know it's  sae  10-40. But that is a different oil now compared to 1982. 

Am I in the safe by going with today's modern recommended oil

I am sorry If there is already something like this in here. But I couldn't find it.

We don't really do oil or tire threads around here. As long as it's 10w-40, designed for motorcycles, and changed regularly, it should be fine.

Yes use a motorcycle oil, mineral or semi-synthetic.
