Free play?.

Hi there, I'm just wondering if anyone knows the correct free play for the clutch on my Gsxr 750m, I seem to have quite a bit of free play on the lever.any help would be much appreciated.

Normally 3-5mm gap between the leaver and pertch. (Cable clutch)

If you notice the lever travel increasing, the cable is probably shot and in need of replacing. They usually start stretching noticeably before they snap. If it's been this way for awhile, screw the adjuster on the perch all the way back in, and adjust the cable at the clutch cover, then fine tune it with the perch adjuster.
