Suzuki Posted May 13 Posted May 13 I acquired a 1983 Suzuki Sp100 Dualsport in nearly factory condition, only 2k original miles. Having searched nearly every square inch of the internet seems to be little information is available about this bike. based on the one article I was able to find, only 13 were produced in the u.s that specific year. does anyone know why that is? how did this specific design come into existence? DAZ Posted May 13 Posted May 13 (edited) From my quick Google search, it's a smaller version of the dr125 trailie learner bike from the mid 80s ,same engine in the gn125 custom bike and since copied by the Chinese for a billion cheap commuters , so spares shouldn't be to hard to find, if you cross reference the part numbers ,Suzuki never made 13 of anything except maybe race bikes, it'll be a parts bin special to suit a specific market maybe your area has (or had in the 80s) age, capacity or power restriction for teenagers Edited May 13 by DAZ Spelling and grammar Quote
PaintItBlack Posted May 13 Posted May 13 I’d imagine it’s very similar to the DR100, which was produced for several years Quote
