Slabby 750 frame given away and replaced with 1100 Slabby which turned out to be twisted (motor would not sit in, frame jumped off the floor when cut..   Slingshot L (I was corrected on this by another member (I thought it was 89)now being used

that's not a 1989 frame but a 1990 (L) or 1991 (M). The 1989 750 does not have the adjustable swingarm spindle thingy.

L has glued on tank rubbers, M has them screwed on. The M rear section is also wider and has an extra pipe near the battery.

Thanks fella, it is an L then, it was just the way the UK documents had been done and yes, I didn't realise the L doesn't have the bolt in rubbers.
