Plan is a general restoration to start and then see how the upcoming MOT (CT) rules in France effect customising. Currently there are no MOTs on motorcycles and they are coming next year. The fear in the biker population is that it will be used to outlaw modifications .

I cannot see any models of this year with 3 spoke wheels, so assuming they have been changed? Unless of course you guys know better?

The fork tubes are pitted and of course if I was back in the UK USD would be planned, but Frances draconian regs prohibit that......

These are the std. wheels for EF  3 spokes are an upgrade

By the looks of it, the new French Contrôle Technique overall won't be checking conformity, but good functional condition of the bikes technicals.

You'll probably need to put a E stamped exhaust can on it the day it goes to the MOT, and it looks like tyre size needs to be same as factory issue, which is a pain (slabbies on modern rims for example could be tricky) but anthing else should be ok, especially on older bikes

So in your case it's not the number of spokes that would cause a problem, but the diameter of the front wheel (16 on EFE originally)
