Too much oil pressure

I completely went through my 1993 GSXR1100W and it has too much oil pressure. 100# at a fast idle 135# higher. Could I have put a bearing in the wrong place blocking an oil hole? Cooler plugged or something else. Most people have problems with low oil pressure. Appreciate any help. Randy

Oil temperature? Oil viscosity? Not unusual to have high oil pressure with thick cold oil. Hopefully you did not put the crankshaft main bearings in the wrong position, or the conrod bearings will be toast.

Or dirt in pressure relief valve - stuck closed, pretty unusual but not impossible! As you've found, these engines make waaaay to much pressure, so most of the flow gets bled straight back to the sump!
