Bandit 6 carbs

Got an old b6. It's not really worthy of oss but it gets me around whilst I collect parts for my gsx build.

Its running okay but I think the carbs need a clean and maybe adjustment.

When on isle it will slightly rev up and down a few hundred rpm, nothing major but enough.

I've given it new plugs, oil and recently done the valve clearances so I'm happy they are okay.

Move never touched carbs as they worry me.

Does anyone have some sort of idiots guide step by step or point me in the right direction?

cheers.

The boots and clamps appear fine. I've checked the cable routing and that seems fine too. I've not balanced the carbs so will try that. Would you recommend balancing before anything bigger like cleaning?

yeah, try all the easy cheap fixes first, it's usually something simple [or it's just I'm simple] if you've been using the bike regularly I doubt it'd be anything real bad....

Cheers vizman. I was using it daily for a 70 mile commute up until I got my new van the other month and it ran well really. It's just annoying on tickover that's all. ....best get reading up on carb balancing then..
