Hello. I am just wondering if it is a big hassel to replace the stock dash/instruments to a aftermarket speedo/neutral/light/turn only. Can i just use the wiring i need and leave the orhers?? Or is the bike needing the stock instruments to start/run and so on??

Most bikes will run, start and stop without any instrument's whatsoever - so you can do whatever floats your boat. BUT finding instruments that are supported by 'old analogue' wiring and sensors may need some thinking about but not insurmountable!

It will be quite straightforward to convert to an aftermarket multi gauge, e.g. Koso, Daytona. You'll have to convert to an electronic speedo though, which isn't difficult. On removal of the stock clocks you may also want to remove the silly and unecessarily complicated warning light unit, because then you can remove several tonnes of excess wire from the loom. EFE clock sets are also fairly desireable as their appearance is a key feature of the positive parts of the overall EFE styling so if getting rid this will offset to some degree the costs of the conversion.
